This museum provides the Downtown Walking Tour , which takes you on a tour of all the historic buildings in the city.
This small museum, which recounts the history and development of Ellis County through the display of antiques, is also home to the Waxahachie Heritage Visitor Center. It is housed in the building that once housed the Waxahachie Masonic Lodge, erected in 1889, a fine example of the Victorian Italianate style, a popular movement in the United States in the second half of the 19th century.
