Nothing is too much bother to anyone. Housekeepers and reception staff all very accommodating and friendly. I Left my charger in the room after checking out a few hours prior. They gave me a spare charger in meantime and tracked down my own.
You would Definitely need a car when staying at this resort as it's quite away from the rest of the things to see on the island. But the hotel does have its own cars for hire. And Milos being a small island you can drive to most places within 20-30mins
Hotel sits on the beach with cabanas available to guests. Even when people appear to "save" them but not return for a while, bar Staff are good at clearing them for people who are actually present.
Rooms were ok, cleaned daily with toiletries, extra blankets and pillows. Good air con and fans.
Really nice rainfall shower. Best part I would say is room service which you can order from the tablet in your room.
Breakfast has a good range. Great coffee And stunning views.
Overall a great place to stay on one of Greece's most beautiful islands.
thank you aliona!!
The restaurant there (ROOT) is a fine dining place. Their food was good, but on the more expensive side. It’s worth going for one night, but not repeatedly.
We also loved the easy access to the beach cabanas. They were a great place to relax, have a swim and have a cocktail.
The main downfall of Artemis is the location. While it’s perfect for the beach, there are few restaurants around and no major supermarket. This is means you have to eat at one of the restaurants or order room service (which we did one of the nights that we stayed there, and it was a great choice because it really allowed us to relax).
Overall, we loved the relaxing vibe, and would come back.
I only had two issues with the entire place. The shower drainage was poor as we found ourselves taking showers while standing in 4 inch deep water. Not a huge deal but it could definitely be addressed. The BIG issue I had was the mass amount of FLIES!!!!!! They were everywhere during the day which pissed me off. Every morning I found myself rushing to eat my breakfast just to get away from them all. Apparently this was a rare phenomenon based on what the staff and other repeat visitors had said so I chose not to mark them down for Mother Nature but prepare yourselves!
Destaco la simpatía de Aliona y Penny, Johanna y sus deliciosos omelettes, Iliana su amabilidad.
Service - a week before our reservation the hotel sent us an email to bid for an upgrade and if we won the bid then we would get an upgrade. We put in a bid and the day before the reservation the email states we won the bid and will be in the upgraded suite. We arrive and no one knows what i am talking about they said there was a miscommunication between the reservation dept and the hotel so we didnt get the room luckily they didnt charge me so didnt have to request a refund. But we ended up in that 407 room. Terrible room I thought i was in an nyc hotel room iykyk.
Location - Hotel was nice but its a bit like isolated compared to others but its a nice hotel. Beach bar food was not good and menu needs to be improved. Got a ham sandwich. Figured if that came out ok I will get more. I got a sandwich with a slice of mayo and an abundance of mayo. Was like a sandwich id get on a flight.
Tips: please don’t take these as negatives but just things to be aware of. The resort is on the opposite side of the main port therefor there is no convenience store or anything around except 3 restaurants. I would stick to the resort as it’s the best. If you want to explore I suggest getting a ATV or car which you can rent through the hotel. The resort does offer transport but it’s 40€ each way even if there is other guests traveling with you in the van. Also if you want to secure a beach cabana for the day I’d suggest you get up early and out your towel down as it’s also open to the public.
