SAKARUN BEACH
Beach with the green of the pine forest, the white of the limestone pebbles and the turquoise blue mixed with the crystal green of the shallow water.
On the west coast of the island, in Sakarun Bay, this 800-meter-long beach must first be contemplated from the top of the path to admire its contrasting colors: the green of the pine forest, the white of the limestone pebbles, the turquoise blue and crystal green of the sea. Even though this beach is very well known, there are few buildings around, only two beach bars and the parking lot is well hidden under the pines. The shallow water is ideal for families, while yachtsmen are happy to drop anchor in the bay beyond the swimming area.
