CHEZ MARTINEZ
A mythical fish and seafood restaurant in Bousfer and in the Oranese region because it has been held by the same Spanish blackfoot family since 1946 and never left during the war or during the black decade. The founder is the great grandfather, Antonio Martinez, a farmer who had a beautiful farm in the heights and who was also a fishing enthusiast, hence the restaurant that still bears his family name… The owners are Marcel Martinez and his wife Fadhia Martinez, a friendly couple who have a beautiful Hispano-Oranese gouge. They will revisit the world with you and invite you to take a tea with Régis Mengual, Marcel's uncle, a passionate fisherman who will also show you the relics of his most beautiful catch. The restaurant itself is nothing special with its bistro, which does not pay a mine where a few black and white photos of the "old" ones Marcel and his wife will gladly present you. On the flat side, seafood products are of course honored with very good fish and seafood from the fishing day. A treat, especially if you settle on the small terrace facing the sea. At Martinez, we will go back, it is certainly for the good fish and for this old atmosphere and this terribly endearing family.
