PLANE ISLAND
Also known as Paloma Island, Plane Island is about 300 meters long and 100 meters wide, uninhabited but equipped with a small wharf (shallow water) that can accommodate small-scale zodiac vessels. You can visit it during the day via excursions from the beach of Andalusian or Bousfer Plage. However, if the sea is turbulent, excursions are not done because currents can be very violent in this area when it is bad weather.
Dives are also organized around the island by the Club Paloma based in Bousfer Plage, the island with one of the most beautiful seabed in the region. On the island itself, you can see a colony of gulls and a lighthouse recently restored thanks to the Barbarous marine ecological association, which also preserves the island and installed solar panels there.
