ARZEW ISLAND LIGHTHOUSE
Built in the nineteenth century, it is one of the oldest lighthouses in Algeria and is still active. It's impossible to miss it from the shoreline, especially since it throws red lights every 5 seconds. It is truly picturesque because it is built on a small island surrounded by the sea.
You can't imagine Arzew without his lighthouse! At a height of 22.40 meters, it looks after the city and guides the trawlers who take the wide at night.
To visit it, ask one of the harbor fishermen to take you on their boat against some dinars, the crossing should not take more than 15 minutes because the lighthouse is really next door.
