It was another Belgian, Jan Limbourg, who took over this colonial-era house to welcome visitors wishing to discover this timeless village. L'Auberge Vigoureux is housed in a characterful colonial-era house in Dimonika, an exceptional village at the heart of artisanal gold panning. It offers à la carte stays in an authentic setting in the heart of the Mayombe rainforest. Our spacious rooms are fully equipped with mosquito nets on the windows and over the beds. In the bathrooms, you'll enjoy organic soap and quality bath sheets. The water used comes from a natural spring for an extraordinary experience. To share unforgettable moments, the bar offers a wide range of drinks at prices to suit all budgets. The restaurant offers tasty cuisine concocted with organic, vegetarian or halal vegetables, as requested.
