The beaches are accessible by bus or bicycle. Apantima, on the east coast, but protected from the wind, is quite small and well organised with sunbeds and parasols. There is a beach club with a bar and tavern. Soros, the largest beach, is one of the busiest. Peramataki, set back from the beach, is popular with the locals. Here you can eat good traditional food. To the south of Soros stretches the Faneromeni peninsula . Here you will find small unspoilt coves and the most beautiful waters. Sostis, Faneromeni or Garbis are the most famous.
