EL SALVADOR CHURCH
On a small paved square, just a stone's throw from the museum, is the church of the village built during the sixteenth century. The sacristy and chapel of Luis Prietoont were added to the seventeenth century. The church is characterized by its sober architecture of rectangular rectangular plane, preceded by a portico and distanced from its square tower of the xiiith century, older construction of the village. Inside, divided into three neves one will observe the baroque retable designed by local artist Manuel Álvarez Benavides, a Christ made of polychrome wood made in the xivth century, together with a collection of liturgical clothing exhibited in the sacrament, probably carried out in the workshop of the Guadalupe monastery.
