MINOO WATERFALL
It can be reached from the Minoo train station in about 20 minutes on foot, first among the souvenir and sweets shops, then along the river, going down the mountain. The walk is particularly beautiful in autumn, under the momiji leaves. The waterfall, 33 m high, has been designated as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Japan. It is even said that Oda Nobunaga, one of the three great unifiers of Japan, used to come here for a walk. On the way is Ryanji Temple. This waterfall is part of the Meiji no Mori Quasi-National Park Minō.
