5 miles after Wilmington and opened since 1956, this drive-in is one of the mythical stops of Illinois on Route 66. We go there for its classic dishes: hamburgers, sandwiches and other chickens... We go back there for its desserts and in particular its delicious Turtle Sundae. The decoration of the place is perfectly in accordance with the spirit of the road (with some inevitable digressions) and you can take advantage of it to take a picture of yourself with the representations of Elvis, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe and Betty Boop, life size!
