Located in a beautiful house with a blue roof, at the foot of the castle, this pleasant café overlooks a charming little Japanese garden. One can enjoy tea or coffee there accompanied by a shiomi-manju, a cake filled with ankos (sweet red beans) and lightly salted with salt from Akō, one of the specialities of the city. At the entrance is a small souvenir shop. It is possible to buy assortments from ¥590 per six pieces. Lying in this café, when visiting the castle ruins, is a recommended stop.
