TAJIMA BOKUJŌ PARK
This center allows to discover the flora and fauna of the Tajima region, whose stars are undoubtedly its beautiful black cows, known worldwide for their persilated, tender and slightly sweet meat. To get closer to the beasts, however, we have had to have arrived in Japan for over a week so as not to risk passing on diseases. A museum, with signs in English, traces their history, presents their meat and their method of rearing. There are many workshops, such as udon noodles, soba noodles, mochi, sausages and many others. The mountains circle the farm like a volcano crater. We can take a little hike to climb up the top. On sunny days, you even see the sea.
