Funerary burial mounds dating from the 3rd to the 6th century can be found in the area. These are valuable sources of information on this period. Each burial mound is in a different form and consists of two rooms, a burial chamber and an offering room. Around the burial mounds, a large number ofhaniwa, terracotta pottery have been found. The most important mound is that of Chasuriyama, 18 m high and 90 m in diameter. Few explanations in English.
