LINDEN PLACE
Stunning Bristol mansion used as a set for some scenes in the 1974 film "Gatsby the Magnificent
Built in 1810, this breathtaking home was the residence of two of the wealthiest families in Rhode Island and the United States, the Colts and the DeWolfs, who made their fortunes from the slave trade. A tour of the house will allow you to learn more about them and familiarize yourself with the members of these two families, united by marriage, and their many accomplishments. Four American presidents have been received in the house, and some scenes from the 1974 film Gatsby the Magnificent were filmed inside.
