A long-distance hiking trail that crosses Cape Scott Provincial Park from east to west.
The park offers a 130 km wilderness trail from Shushartie Bay (west of Port Hardy) to Cape Scott. The North Coast Trail (43 km) is a long hiking trail that crosses the park from east to west. It is possible to borrow the last section for the day. The most popular areas of the park are the beautiful San Joseph Bay (45 min from the parking lot, camping available) and the wilderness beaches of Cape Scott, northwest of the park.
