A remarkable mountain range in Obereggen.
The Latemar, in the shape of a horseshoe open to the west, has a first group of peaks from Cima (2,460 m) to Torre dei Muss (2,400 m), and a second group around Monte Agnello (2,358 m). There are 20 peaks over 2,300 m high, the highest of which are Cima Diamantidi (2,842 m) and Torri Del Latemar (2,814 m). To the north, the Latemar towers are steep and monumental, while to the south they are lower and easier to access. The only via ferrata "Campanili del Latemar" leads from Passo Carezza, at 1,600 m, to the Latemar peak at 2,791 m.
