Beautiful ancestral vines as proven by a document found in the archives of the castle.
Malabaila boasts the oldest wine production in Piedmont. In fact, a document dating back to 1362, found in the castle archives, mentions the distribution of vines. Since the 2000s, however, production has no longer taken place at the castle in the center of Canale (part of which can be visited by groups by appointment, with wine tasting, and where receptions can be organized), but in a new facility built closer to the beautiful vineyards.
