Val dl'Ert, located in the town of San Martino in Badia, Val Badia, in the province of Bolzano, is an art park featuring a permanent exhibition of sculptures acquired in recent editions of the SMACH art competition. Nestled in an unspoilt alpine forest far from civilization, the park features works by artists from all over the world. Art in a natural context establishes a complementary relationship between the works, mutually enriching each other through an ongoing dialogue. The Val dl'Ert art park is freely accessible and free of charge, allowing visitors to spend a few hours in peace and quiet in the midst of nature, preserving an authentic Alpine dimension. For those wishing to deepen their understanding of the works of art and their context, guided tours are available. The Val dl'Ert concept is based on three pillars: an exhibition area, an educational center and a cultural space. The works on display are selected from past editions of the SMACH art competition, which takes place in various places of historical and cultural interest in the towns of San Martino in Badia and Marebbe.
