A secluded mazot facing the mountains and the Vitipeno valley, where you're greeted by the mooing of cows. A rustic atmosphere and authentic dishes, both hearty and elaborate, such as gnocchi with game ragout or soufflé with Graukäse (grey cheese). There's no set menu here: dishes are listed on arrival. The mazot has its own butcher's shop and produces speck and smoked sausages, which can be tasted on the premises or purchased from the small store, which also sells alpine cheeses, honey, wine and more.

Wir hatten dann wohl Pech........Die Weine waren sehr gut, auch der 27 Monate alte Schinken war die perfekte Vorspeise. Leider war es das schon. Viel Auswahl an Fleischgerichten gab es nicht (mehr?). Als Vorspeise gab es sehr trockene Nockerl mit Sauerkraut. Das waren dann anders geformte Speckknödel. Wie man so etwas servieren kann, ist nicht nachvollziehbar. Wir haben es reklamiert. Als Hauptspiese wurde uns ein Molkeschwein angepriesen. Es gab einen 0815 Schweinebraten mit noch trockeneren kleinen Knödeln. Eine echte Entäuschung. 2 Personen - 250 Euro. Trotz Reklamation gab es nicht einmal ein Schnapserl aufs Haus. Wir können diesen Hype nicht nachvollziehen....leider.

Siamo in Val di Vizze ad un altitudine di 1300 metri. Tra verdi colline, pascoli di mucche c'è il regno di Ulli e Karl Mair che in un vecchio naso hanno creato un posto incantevole dove poter assaggiare la buona e caratteristica cucina di Ulli creata esclusivamente con i prodotti dell'attività agricola, di allevamento e macellazione della famiglia Mair. I piatti sono quelli tipici dell'Alto Adige ma hanno una marcia in più grazie all'ottima qualità delle materie prime. Infatti i canederli, le zuppe, le carni sia bovine che suine hanno tute un incredibile sapore come i formaggi e lo speck di loro produzione. Servizio professionale con qualche piccola pecca. Interessante carta dei vini.

Eine der schönsten und sympathischsten kulinarischen Adressen in Südtirol. Große Weinkarte und tolles Essen. Wer das Leben genießt, muss hier vorbeischauen. Vielen Dan an das Team vom Pretzhof für den schönen Samstag bei Euch!!!
