VILLA FARAGGIANA
Located on the roadside, towards Arona, this beautiful villa is the most edifying example of 19th century Italian architecture in this region, appreciated by wealthy Milanese people over the weekend since that time. It was Senator Raffaello Faraggiana, who lived there, who gave it his name. Its large yellow and white neoclassical façade with its sculpted tympanum, its colonnades and its huge 25,000 m2 park are splendid. The interior is equally impressive, with gilding, frescoes on the ceilings and sculptures everywhere.
