TORRE DI BUCCIONE
23-meter tower offering a beautiful panorama of the lake and the surroundings
At the south-eastern end of the lake, on the border with the municipality of Orta San Giulio, stands the last remains of a medieval castle of Gozzano. This 23-metre high tower is unfortunately closed to visitors for safety reasons. Inside it is 5 floors with wooden bridges. You can walk around it and above all enjoy a beautiful panorama of the lake and the surroundings. The climb takes about 10 minutes on foot and is relatively easy to access. The surrounding nature reserve is also very suitable for walks.
