Travelling by bus in Riyadh is very comfortable: the buses are mostly empty, as the locals are discovering this mode of transport
The Saudi Arabia Public Transportation Company (SAPTCO) manages Riyadh's urban bus network. Buses run between 5:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. every day. There are 6 different lines criss-crossing the city from north to south and east to west. All depart from Al-Baida, Riyadh's central thoroughfare, near the National Museum. Buses run every day, with about 10 minutes between trips and a slightly higher frequency on Fridays. Line 9 passes through Olaya St and line 7 will bring you closer to Ad-Diriyah.
