Green cabs crisscross the city, but are strangely absent when international flights arrive at King Khalid airport. The Ministry of Transport undertook a major campaign in 2020 to modernize the fleet and make it more competitive with VTCs. Vehicles are now equipped with electronic meters and on-board technology such as free wifi. There are no cab ranks in Riyadh, so you'll have to hail a cab from the street or it will honk at you as it passes you by.
