FAROUJ AL CARAWAN
This large and impersonal canteen is well known by the inhabitants and employees of the neighborhood. One eats there well, quickly and for a modest price a cuisine of Levantine inspiration. The menu is huge and includes the usual dishes: eggplant caviar (mouttabal), hummus, chich tawouk (grilled chicken brochettes), kebabs, etc. But you can also enjoy a salad, dishes simmered in clay pots or fried fish. The service is absolutely adorable, ask for Abdullah who speaks a little English. Very nice terrace in the shade in season.
