SOUK OF SWEIGAH

This shopping mall, located just behind the Al Masmak fortress, is perhaps the most traditional souk in Riyadh. Here you'll find mainly low-priced clothes, abayas and hijabs for women, and thobes, bishts and ghutras for men. The stores are set up in a row in a dark building. The merchants on their doorsteps will not hesitate to hail you to try to sell you something. If you're tempted, be warned that negotiation is the order of the day.
