AL-ASEEL COFFEE
Opposite the National Museum complex and Murabba Palace, close to the traffic circle, this large café is one of the few welcoming places in the district to take a break. And it can be a welcome one after battling Riyadh's sweltering heat and browsing the museum's collections. You'll find a very Arabian atmosphere here, with the openwork wooden floral friezes stuck to the ceilings or the inlaid marble fountain. In addition to your coffee or fresh fruit juice, you can succumb to the sweetness of a fragrant chicha.
