The palace was built in the 19th century and belongs to the Irefin clan, one of Ibadan's royal families. Today a little crushed by the surrounding urbanization and abandoned although it is still inhabited by the descendants of the clan, it would go almost unnoticed, with its pointed wooden structure carved covered with sheet metal. If you respectfully ask to enter, you may be able to observe its interesting interior architecture, displaying some period relics.
