BOARDWALK

It is along the Boardwalk, between 1st Street and 23rd Street, that most of Ocean City's shops and attractions are located. Every year, on sunny days, hundreds of thousands of visitors stroll between two swims in the ocean. The walk follows the beach for 2.5 miles, which can be covered by foot, bike or rollerblade. Among the attractions, Gilllan's Wonderland Pier, at 6th Street level, is a must for families with its many rides. Every Thursday in July and August, Family Night is held on the Boardwalk, with music, magicians and free performances.
