I have always wanted to dine here. Stopped here for lunch after a long day driving. We ordered for grilled chicken and chips, after 30 minutes nothing was coming. The waiter requested we change the order. Anyway we badly wanted to eat we ordered plain chips, salads and rice with beef stew. After another 30 minutes, we were served. Rice was really bad and cold we refused it. Chips were half cooked and cucumber salad was the worst. The bill was exaggerated maybe because I had mzungu guests. Rice was also on the bill. I asked to talk to the manager for explanation but all in vain. There's an old lady I saw seated in the reception counter with a staff and looked like the owner anyway I wanted to share the experience such that they can improve. They reduced the price by 6k but looked like they would chop it from the girl's salary. She also became moody and I decided to pay full amount. They thought it's the mzungus to pay but were surprised.
I saw most people stop there and use the washrooms only. The place looks deserted, is really dying and needs urgent attention.
Better to try other options in town. Surely I won't go back!!
It was really perfect in every sense. Only complaint would be that the water for shower was well water although hot water was available. Good food. Kind service. Reasonable prices.
