This resort is tucked away in a grove on the small Mushongero Peninsula. The cottages are very pleasant and all have a nice view of the lake, but those facing south have a breathtaking backdrop of the Virunga mountain range. The bar-restaurant, with its terrace and subdued interior atmosphere, will delight big eaters and gourmets alike, as its cuisine is both hearty and excellent. A wide range of activities, such as kayaking or swimming on the pontoons. In short, a superb address!

Very good stay, large quiet, not much to do on site. But very relaxing. The bungalows are all comfortable, with lake views. And the food was very well, even for special diets. Good base, go see the gorillas, but not very close (1h30 drive). You can swim in the lake, says us one, but the weather was fresh, did not try. Very good table service. The prices are relatively high, but the place is rather far from everything, probably quite expensive to ensure such a service (water, electricity, etc.). We almost paid the same price in a loge with queen Elisabeth, with pool, etc.
