On paper, the Bomah has it all: an excellent location (not far from downtown shops), a swimming pool (accessible to non-hotel guests for 15,000 Ush), a health club, a restaurant-bar, fully-equipped rooms (TV, fan, shower room...) and a genuinely friendly staff. However, there's a catch... The premises, and in particular the rooms, are hardly in a state of repair. Many of the walls are cracked and paintwork is lacking. But there's no alternative in town...

We didn’t sleep at this hotel but we had lunch! I highly recommend their boiled potatoes! If you can grab them with a curry, the better!

The meals are sumptuous, and they Have nice breakfast mostly for overnight guests though you may part with 20k UGX to be served if ur aren't lodging there. Saw a struggle on packaging takeaway. Something management can solve.
