Paumées, the rugged hills of Lututuru have seen the passage of a King of England (George VI, who is said to have visited British officers who established a camp here during the Second World War) and Idi Amin, who had a personal lodge built there (abandoned in 1979, there are now only vestiges, including three cement seats. Only the spectacular panorama has hardly changed). Ask at the Acaki Lodge before you travel, as the track is very strenuous and the location isolated (70 km north of Kitgum).
