MUSEO NACIONAL DEL COBRE
Beautiful space that presents the best of the local know-how existing in the pre-Hispanic era in Santa Clara del Cobre
Opened in 1977, this beautiful, traditionally designed space showcases the best of local craftsmanship (already in existence in pre-Hispanic times), including winning pieces from national competitions. Some of them are breathtakingly detailed. A visit to this small museum will allow you to learn more about the evolution of the copper industry in this small town where copper is a specialty. You can also see old pieces and, in the pretty courtyard, you can watch demonstrations by local craftsmen. Items for sale.
