ZONA ARQUEOLOGICA CHALCATZINGO
Circuit which consists in going up high enough on the hill to admire figures engraved under a rock shelter, sign of the site
From the entrance, the circuit consists in going up quite high on the hill to admire first of all engraved figures under a rock shelter, distinctive sign of the site. Then the path goes along the rocky wall on which grows a beautiful amarillo tree and we go up slightly by some steps of a ruined temple to discover other engravings. Then we go back down little by little towards the ceremonial center itself. The walk can last from 2 to 3 hours.
