ESGLÈSIA SANT ISCLE I SANTA VICTORIA
The current church in Rajadell dates from the 14th century and has a mixture of styles: a Romanesque tympanum, Gothic elements (front walls of the façade, nave and side walls), and a modern portal. The main altar also housed an altarpiece composed of five carved and polychrome wooden bodies, the work of the sculptor Joan Grau dating from the Baroque period, but most of it went up in smoke during a fire during the Civil War. In the church square, the Spanish sculptor Ramon Oms gave the city his work "La Noia de la Plaça" (The Daughter of the Square), representing a young woman who offers a chair to the passing visitor, an allegory of Rajadell's hospitality. It is on this same square that concerts and shows are given throughout the summer.
