MOLÍ D'OLI
It is one of the few traditional oil mills that continues to operate in Catalonia. Managed by the Agropecuaria de Rajadell cooperative, it was built by a group of farmers who in 1922-1923, tired of going to neighbouring villages to have their olives ground, decided to build their own mill. Initially operated by animal traction, two electric traction rollers later modernized the press. Nowadays, the production process has hardly changed, and the extra virgin oil comes from cold extraction. During the months of December and January, the mill is open to all those who bring their olives or come to buy oil. An informative and "bracelet" visit!
