Crossing the Relat River, the Avinyó Gothic bridge was built in the 14th century to allow the inhabitants to connect the new part of the village that had developed since the 13th century. Camí Ral and Camí Ramader cross this bridge before heading north towards Lluçanès, the Pyrenees and France and then, towards the southwest, before reaching the Marina del Penedès by crossing the Pla de Bages.
