CASTELLADRAL
The tiny village of Castelladral, former capital of Navàs, is the highest point in the municipality and the most majestic in the Geopark from the north. On a clear day, you can see the old deltas of Sant Llorenç del Munt and Montserrat. Gradually, the terrain becomes steeper and steeper to the north, until it enters an area of steep terrain surrounding the municipality. Documented since 941, the old stones that make up the architectural ensemble of Castelladral are worth a visit, if only for the magical view of the valley (you would think you were in The Lord of the Rings!), which you can enjoy from the vast square stretching out in front of the church.
