POBLAT IBÈRIC DEL COGULLÓ
The capital of the tribe of the Lacing Tribe, the primitive people of Central Catalonia, the Iberian village of Cogulló is the only remaining vestige of Iberian settlement that can be visited in the county of Bages. More than 2,400 years old, it crowns a 200-metre high hill strategically overlooking the Llobregat Valley. It has the typical characteristics of a fortified village from the Iberian period: the remains of its fortified towers, its imposing wall, its alleys and its houses can be seen. The village is part of the "Iberian Route" set up by the Museum of Archaeology of Central Catalonia.
