A medieval complex dated between the 10th and 12th centuries, built on a hill at an altitude of 471 m and surrounded by an ancient meander of the Calders River. The castle was formed by a circular tower, a surrounding wall, and a chapel that has now disappeared: Santa Maria del Castell de Calders. About half of the tower collapsed, but the surrounding wall has been partially preserved, as have parts of the later castle, probably from the 17th century. Magnificent view from the esplanade!
