THE KATHARINE

Located in the former R. J. Reynold building and named after the wife of the tobacco magnate, Katharine Reynold, the restaurant of the Kimpton Hotel - The Cardinal Hotel is an elegant and modern brasserie. Composed of two rooms opening onto a bar and the kitchen where you can watch the chefs working in the background, it is a pleasant address for a gourmet lunch in the city centre. While the spirit of the place and the menu are resolutely of French influence, the chef takes care to be attentive to the tastes and expectations of American palates. The menu changes each season and consists of mainly local products. However, some must-sees remain on the menu, such as tartar, a very gourmet and hearty starter, served with a speciality based on avocado, scallops carpaccio, which is fresher and lighter, or the dish made with lobster gnocchi, which is as surprising as it is delicious.
