MAST GENERAL STORE

A huge country store, understand the deep American atmosphere with country music in the background, wood everywhere and typical decorative objects including an entire wall covered with plaques and other colorful advertising panels.
There is a large part of it in clothing, but also books, games, beauty products, an attractive selection of candies and other sweets presented in huge wooden barrels covered with red checkered fabrics, kitchen accessories, a grocery section with preserves, flour, jams... And if a sweet smell titillates your nostrils, it's probably the popcorn machine that sits next to the cash register. If not all products are "Made in USA", the idea is to offer as many local products as possible. You will find, among others, Moonshine's energy drinks, made in Winston-Salem, Moravian cookies baked in Old Salem, soaps from North Carolina and Burt's Bees brand products based in Durham. On the grocery store side, most preserves are also produced in the area. To find your way around, look for Master Store labels that indicate a local origin. In the basement, there is a fine selection of knives, some of which are also designed in North Carolina.
