The refuge managed by Zimparks is a basic house, built on a ridge, but which allows to spend the night in a bed in the heart of the park. The view is beautiful and the hut is a good base for hiking or bouldering. Mountain Hut is located 3.5 km from Mutesekwane Base Camp along the Bailey's Folly trail, a little further along the Banana Grove trail. The hut is falling into disrepair.
