AÉRODRÔME D'ANJOUAN-OUANI

Located in Ouani, six kilometres northeast of Mutsamudu, the airfield is relatively small and obsolete for Anjouan, although rehabilitation work is underway. It's the only one on the island. To be able to land there, it will be necessary to take off from Grande-Comore, Mohéli or Mayotte because it only welcomes small aircraft. Near the airport, you will find a tiny grocery store, taxi drivers and some fruit and flower necklace vendors. A small travel agency is hiding a little far on the road. Useful to book a plane ticket at the last minute if the computers do not work on site (it can happen!)....

To access the city centre from the airfield, you can take a taxi that will take the road on the waterfront to reach the city from the east. Drivers will offer you their services. The race costs 250 KMF in theory but you are not immune to crazy proposals. If you use a guide during your visit to the island, ask him to pick you up.
