GHAN HOUSE
Cozy rooms in a character house near Carlingford's old town walls.
Close to the walls of Carlingford's old town, one of the region's most sought-after character addresses. Built in 1727, this former private house, in the Georgian style, occupies a vast garden. A warm-hearted man, very involved in local life, Paul Carroll manages with enthusiasm and talent this heritage inherited from his parents who, in 1991, restored the estate and opened a cookery school, then a restaurant in 1997. Today, Ghan House also has 12 cosy rooms for the comfort of its guests.
