The castle has undergone several transformations over the centuries. Of Mudejar style, the southeast door is the oldest part and dates from the 12th century. After being invaded by French and then English troops, it was used as a prison after the Spanish Civil War. Since 1977, it has been used by secondary school students who have the chance to study within its walls. In addition to the guided tours, you can walk around the walls and enjoy the beautiful views of the countryside.
