HANITA MUSEUM
The first part of the museum tells of the establishment of the famous "Watchtowers" (Homa OuMigdal), which were established by Jewish communities in response to the Palestinian Arab revolts that began in 1936 and lasted about three years. You can see photos, written documents, but also old weapons and uniforms from the time. A second part is devoted to archaeological finds found in or near Hanita. In particular, we can see the well-preserved remains of a mosaic of an ancient Byzantine Christian church dating from the 6th century, which was located very close to the kibbutz's buildings. The instructions are available in English, Hebrew. Guided tours in French on request.
