CUEVAS ALKADIMA
In the middle of the Altiplano, these Alkadima cuevas seem to have come out of nowhere, with their Mexican Wild West air. But the interior is very cosy, as small dining rooms have been set up in the caves. This is a meat paradise where you will absolutely have to taste the "lata de cordero segureño", a lamb stew cooked in the oven and served with potatoes and green vegetables as well as a garlic and almond sauce. The restaurant also offers tapas (croquettes, Huéscar cheese...) and the sweet touch can be brought by chocolate pancakes or cheese pie. As it is open all day long, the establishment, which also makes tetería, can serve as a valuable stopover in the surrounding area.
