ZOO OF RARE ANIMALS
A carefully landscaped park home to monkeys, lemurs, giant tortoises and a wide variety of birds.
500 animals belonging to 70 species from all over the world live in this carefully landscaped park, surrounded by mountains. Monkeys, lemurs, giant tortoises and a wide variety of birds, some on the brink of extinction, are preserved in this magnificent setting. Construction of the first aviaries began in 1978. Marion Mayr and Rudi Otto took over the zoo in 2007. Dwarf otters, Barbary macaques, coatis, birds of prey, parrots, turtles... Superb!
